If you’re an art history buff you may confuse Lee Eun-ju‘s nude debut, Virgin Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors (2000), with the famous painting by Marcel Duchamp entitled “The Bride Stripped Bare by her Bachelors.” If you’re more into lovely women in the buff, you’ll just be happy to watch some extremely artistic and erotic lovemaking. The South Korean actress got her start modelling school uniforms, before she made her acting debut in If It Snows on Christmas (1998). The wait for her to do nudity was as short as we like to imagine those schoolgirl uniform skirts were, since the bachelor flick came just two years later. Filmed in black and white, it’s a very fancy movie that messes with unreliable narrators and flashes from the past to the present, with no warning that’s happening. It’s very confusing. Luckily there’s nothing to be confused about watching Lee Eun-ju flashing her rack while getting fingered by a dude, and having sex with him. Mess with the timeline all you want, we don’t get confounded watching Korean girls get pounded. She followed that up with The Scarlet Letter (2004), a crime drama about a cop who struggles to solve crimes because he keeps banging the women he’s supposed to investigate. Lee Eun-ju plays a sultry jazz singer who provides us with a brief butt shot. Unfortunately, at just twenty four years old Lee Eun-Ju both slit her wrists and hung herself in a successful suicide attempt. It’s believed she suffered from mental health issues, which her parents blamed on having to do the nude scenes in her last movie, though her managers denied that was the case. What a shame. Raise your glass to a lost piece of ass. Pour one out, or rub one out. Here’s to you Lee Eun-Ju.
